About John

John is a second generation entrepreneur, and was a writer, editor, and teacher for 20 years before pursuing his lifelong passion for the design, renovation, and building of houses. He learned the craft from the ground up – working as a carpenter and project manager. He was fortunate to join a skilled, professional crew, gaining hands-on experience working on indoor and outdoor living spaces – from creating covered decks to built-in bookshelves, pantries, and other custom and tailored solutions. John launched Green Gable in 2020 to combine his strengths in organization, project management, and communication with his hands-on remodeling and renovation experience. Today, he takes pride in helping homeowners bring their vision to life with care, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail.

With 20+ years in helping businesses grow and thrive, Kym supports Green Gable’s growth through marketing, customer care, and nurturing long-term partnerships with skilled trade partners, subcontractors, designers, real estate agents, and suppliers. By keeping the details organized behind the scenes, her focus is on ensuring a seamless process and a positive experience for everyone involved.
